Resident Evil (known as Biohazard in Japan) is a survival horror video game series created by Shinji Mikami and Tokuro Fujiwara, and developed and published by Capcom. The franchise follows stories of various characters struggling to survive bioterrorism incidents involving zombies and other monsters created by the fictional pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corporation.
